My Current Skin Care Favorites: Under $30

by - November 07, 2019

I recently started doing my skin care routine religiously again.

I know, I know. Don't come for me in the comments.

I literally have zero excuse because I know better. But sometimes life happens & your skin takes a hit.

Since leaving ULTA (in late 2017) I've been transitioning from super high end products to drug store products. Mostly because without that discount I ain't about that life.

When I started to transition to the drug store I was overwhelmed to say the least. There are SO many options & it's not like these drug store brands are offering up training to their retail stores like higher end brands did to ULTA. (I know that Target & Walgreens have stepped up their cosmetics game a LOT but still, no one was walking around asking me my skin type, concerns & how I could achieve my ultimate skin)

After a lot of misses I finally landed on my hits! And don't come from me. There is a Mario Badescu product in here. That's literally almost drug store & can be found at your local ULTA. Okay, thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

Face Wash: OLAY Cleanse Gentle Foaming Cleanser - $4.29 from Target
Why I love it: I've gone through 1 bottle of this and repurchased this bottle! I am hooked. I love the foaming aspect and how my skin feels clean but not stripped after using.

Note: Pictured is the travel size. The full size is 8.0 oz
Why I love it: This is my favorite step of my routine because I feel like it gets anything that my cleanser might have missed. The change from the warm water when I cleanse my face to the cool toner is also a nice touch.

Why I love it: There's absolutely no smell and I love it. It hydrates my skin nicely, isn't too heavy or too light. The only bummer is that it doesn't have SPF.

I am on the hunt for a good drugstore SPF, under eye cream, and night cream. If you have any suggestions ($20 or under) leave them below!
